Palilula

On 7. June 2006, municipal representatives of Belgrade municipality Palilula adopted decision of usage of symbols: coat of arms (basic, middle, gretaer) and flag.

Flag is square banner of arms, with repeated motif from basic arms.

Basic arms of Palilula is horizontaly divided in two fields, upper is divided verticaly in two fields, fimbrated gold. Upper right field is red charged with golden pipe, left field is blue charged with golden stylized dome of church of St. Mark and two wavy lines. Bottom field is white charged with golden stylized tent, golden key and inscription of year 1830.

Middle coat of arms also contains golden mural crown with three visible merlons.

Greater arms of Palilula includes following parafernalia: right supporter is Saint Stephen, the protomartyr and archdeacon, who holds the pole of the banner of arms of City of Belgrade. Left supporter is Saint Mark the apostle, holding the pole of banner of arms of Civic municipality of Palilula.

Crest is golden mural crown with three visible merlons, charged with golden lion holding golden sword.

Postament is green hill. Motto is found on the scroll, under the shield and it is the name of the municipality. Motto also reads the names of Saint Mark and Saint Stephen.
