Civic municipality has its coat of arms and flag. Shield in coat of Arms of civic municipality of Zemun is tetragonal in blue colour; Branched tree proper rises from green coupeau in the base of the shield; Deer lodged proper and turned toward tree is on the right side, Lion rampant or holds sable (krivošija) in the right paw; Golden mural crown with 5 merlons is above the shield. Shiled is above plue ribbon with the cyrillic inscription: Zemun (ЗЕМУН).
Civic municipality's flag ratio is 2:1, horizontally. Flag is white charged with coat of arms of Zemun.
Earlier versions
From 2003-2005 Flag was simple horizontal bicolour, blue over green in ratio 1:2. Greater arms had golden lions as supporters and had postament and motto too.
Flag of Zemun in period 2005-2009 was white rectangle charged with full arms. Shield of the arms was same, but coat of arms had knights as supporters.
